Dragon Ball Super: Broly is Bringing Back Raditz

Dragon Ball Super: Broly recently teased fans with a flashback sequence that shows baby versions of Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, which also showed the Ginyu Force, Zarbon, and Dodoria. With the movie set to reveal more about the Saiyans, exploring their past and showing younger versions of characters we already knew has gotten many viewers excited. One of those characters is the very first villain in Dragon Ball Z; Raditz.

An image of a very young Raditz has been officially shared as part of the film's promotion, which should be great for fans of the Saiyan foe. He still has his long hair, scanner, and armor as a kid, so that's neat. It will be interesting to see if Raditz has any interactions with his father Bardock or fellow Saiyans like Nappa and Vegeta.

Raditz is often treated as a joke these days since he's a strong as one Saibaman but at the time, the Saiyan was a huge threat. He was beating Goku and Piccolo soundly during the first arc of Z. The fact that it took Goku sacrificing himself and Piccolo's strongest technique showed that he was a tough foe.

Many fans felt that Raditz was wasted since he is Goku's brother and failed to make a huge impact. Sure, he did reveal Goku's true origin, in return expanding the franchise to new sci-fi heights but the fact that Raditz is killed and never brought back is a shame.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes to Japan this December and in the Americas on January.
