Dovin Baan, the Vedalken Planeswalker from Kaladesh, might return when the next Magic: The Gathering set Ravnica Allegiance comes out early next year, and this time, it looks like the Minister of Inspections of the Consulate of Kaladesh will take over everyone's favorite blue-white Ravnica guild.
During a live stream of Magic: The Gathering Arena, Melissa DeTorra and Donald Smith Jr discussed the story of Ravnica, and at at the 1:04:48 mark, Donald let it slip that Vraska killed Isperia, allowing Dovin Baan to assume control of the Azorious Guild. You can watch the clip below:

It would be interesting to see an Azorious villain in the
Ravnica
storyline. The last time we've seen Dovin Baan was in the
Kaladesh
storyline when he boarded the Heart of Kiran then planeswalked away before Chandra could stop him. Hopefully, the Ravnica set after Allegiance will see Chandra confront Dovin Baan again in an epic battle.

Ravnica Allegiance will feature the other five guilds: Azorius (blue-white), Rakdos (black-red), Gruul (red-green), Simic (green-blue), and Orzhov (black-white). It will be released early 2019.
