Doug Liman’s Chaos Walking to Undergo Major Reshoots; Could Delay the Film

Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland are faces of two of the biggest box office franchises in the world, and they're teaming up to star in Doug Liman's Chaos Walking. As it turns out, the movie will be undergoing some big reshoots and it could ultimately lead to the movie getting pushed back.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reshoots are set to take place sometime around this coming December to January; the delay due to the fact that both principal actors will probably be working on each of their respective franchises, Ridley with Star Wars Episode IX and Holland with the Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel. It's also worth noting that the movie will also have Mads Mikkelsen (Rogue One, Hannibal) onboard as the villain.

We haven't been given a reason as to why the movie is undergoing the reshoots, but we could probably get some explanation somewhere down the line. What are the odds that it was based on a test screening gone wrong?

With the reshoots set to take place so late this year, it's possible that the movie won't be able to make its March release date. It looks like Chaos Walking will have to come out later in 2019.

We still don't have a new release date for Chaos Walking, but the movie was set to come out March 1, 2019.
