Donald Glover Picks Kylo Ren Over Darth Vader

Darth Vader might be one of the most iconic villains in cinematic history, but Solo: A Star Wars Story actor Donald Glover believes that Anakin's grandson, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), is actually a much better baddie than Vader.

Glover just recently participated in a video questionnaire for Noisy to help promote his upcoming Star Wars film. During his time with the publication, the Atlanta star was asked which Star Wars villain he liked the best. Was it Darth Maul? Was it Vader? Or maybe Kylo Ren?

According to Glover, the answer was Darth Vader's grandson.

"Kylo Ren has a really interesting sense of humor. He's intense, I get his story. So I kind of have to go with Kylo Ren," Glover explained.

Though some fans might feel like they should hang Glover to a stake, the Solo star does have his reasons for picking Kylo Ren. Sure, the character might come off as overly emotional, but Kylo Ren's won a lot of praise from fans and critics for his complexity and depth.

Struggling between the Dark Side and the Light, Ren was considered just as much a protagonist of Star Wars: The Last Jedi as Rey (Daisy Ridley). After killing Snoke and taking over the First Order, fans wonder what we're going to see from Kylo Ren when we get to see Star Wars: Episode IX.

Lucasfilm's latest entry, Solo: A Star Wars Story, is set to premiere on May 25.
