Aaron Paul will be introduced to Westworld this year, and it looks like his character is going to be working closely with Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood). Just in, we have a new teaser that gives us an insight on the relationship between the two in the upcoming season.
Just like with Teddy and William, it looks like Caleb will be romantically linked to Dolores, and she will be making use of him to try and overthrow the system outside of Westworld. What's interesting is that the teaser implies that Dolores has access to the data company Incite, that's why she knows a lot about Caleb.
Seeing that Dolores is usually the more ‘evil' character in the show, I'm wondering how much of her connection with Caleb is a ploy to just get him to do her bidding. So far we know that Dolores has a vendetta against humans, so it would be odd that she tries to team up with one now that she's free; unless, she finds a new branch of oppressed humans that she can actually bond with and feel sorry for. Then again, wouldn't that be too easy for something as complicated as Westworld?
Though the last season had its problems, I thought that Westworld was still fantastic, and this next season looks to expand on that. With the story now going out of the park, I'm excited to see what kind of future world Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan brought us as fans.
