The Akabane Family is unlike any ordinary party or guild in Good Night World. They have the four strongest members in Planet, and many guilds are trying to bring them down, but to no avail. They always play together, but does the Akabane family ever find out about each other in Good Night World?

Who Are the Members of the Akabane Family?
The Akabane family is widely regarded as the strongest party inside the virtual space of Planet.
They control 5% of the land in the game, and their hideout is built on Twilight Hill, a place renowned for the frequent appearance of the Black Bird.
Most players on Planet are afraid of them due to their overwhelming combat prowess and flawless team play.
Unlike other guilds such as the Pirates and the Granada that boast thousands of members, the Akabane Family is only composed of four extraordinary players, and they are as follows:
- Ichi Akabane has a skill point of 2892, and he has an attacker role. He is infamous for player kills (PK). He doesn’t know how to be nice to others, but he has a soft spot for his pretend family in-game.
- AAAAA Akabane has skill points of 301, and his role is nothing in particular, but he has great memorization skills. He also acts like a walking database due to his intelligence. Funny, he wasn’t thinking when he picked his in-game name.
- May Akabane has a total of 1,280 skill points. She acts as the healer and buffer for the family. Most of the time, May does household chores like cleaning, cooking, watering, and gardening.
- Shiro Akabane is the strongest of the bunch. He has a total of 4,000 skill points and is considered the boss of the family. He has a wide-area attacker role.
The Akabane Family has a lot of enemies inside the game because of their control over Twilight Hill. Their only allied guild is the Granada Guild, led by Leon and Sasumata, which boasts 5,000 members.

Who Are the Players Behind the Akabane Family?
Although the Akabane family is very accomplished and respected on Planet, their real-life identities suffer from each of their harsh realities.
From social withdrawal to mental illness, low self-esteem, pride, and ego, the Akabane family is dysfunctional in real life.
All the members escape reality by choosing to play in the game, knowing that this is the only place where they can feel the actual warmth and happiness of a loving family.
Here are the players behind the Akabane family:
- Taichiro Arima is Ichi Akabane, one of the Net-Game No Life players in the game. He was once a bright and positive boy—that is, until the tragic death of his younger sister, Aya, which changed his world forever.
- Azuma Arima is AAAAA Akabane, Taichiro’s younger brother. He looks up to Taichiro, but ever since his brother’s light dimmed, he has begun to hate what his older brother has become. Even so, he tries to keep his family together.
- Miyabi Arima is May Akabane, the mother of the household. She keeps seeing visions of her dead daughter. Her condition keeps worsening throughout the series.
- Kojiro Arima is Shiro Akabane, the head of the household, who created the online game Planet. He was an engineer at Gleam Company who tried to correct all the wrong things he had done, not only to his family but to the world.
Does the Akabane Family Ever Find Out About Each Other?
Yes, the Akabane family finds out about each other’s true identities by the end of Good Night World.
It was thanks to Kamuro Hana, who divulged the shocking information to the Arima family after the wall between the virtual world and the real world collapsed.
However, Taichiro finds out about Azuma’s identity as AAAAA early in the series. He accidentally discovered the truth after Azuma collapsed in his room, following Azuma’s death in-game from the Black Bird’s attack.
At some point, Taichiro also confessed to Azuma that he was Ichi, when he confirmed Azuma’s real feelings about people escaping reality to play Planet instead.
