Who Is Lana the Moon Tempest in Ishura?
Lana the Moon Tempest, or simply Lana, is a minia woman who debuted in the series alongside Shalk the Sound Slicer and Higuare the Pelagic on their journey back to the New Principality of Lithia.
She is an intelligence officer dispatched across the land by the self-proclaimed new demon king, Taren the Guarded (Taren the Punished), to track down elite warriors and mercenaries.
In truth, Lana is an undercover spy for Aureatia, the same person who sold out Lithia agents who knew where the World Word was to Elea the Red Tag, allowing the latter to infiltrate Kia's village.
Lana was previously a member of the spy guild Obsidian Eyes, but following her betrayal, she wound up in Aureatia and has since been involved in a variety of covert operations much beyond that of any ordinary spy on the ground.
What Happened to Lana in Ishura?
Unfortunately, Dakai the Magpie discovers Lana's inside job. He imprisoned Lana, but Elea and Kia rushed to her aid.
Lana witnessed Higuare's death before fleeing her prison cell, and then she fled in terror, not just because Elea was after her life but also because of Kia and her unparalleled strength.
Elea and Kia then discover Lana in the act of using the cold star, completely out of control.
She is traumatized by Higuare's death and Kia's strength, and the prospect of not being able to return to Aureatia or Lithia only adds to her worries.
Unlike Lana in her debut, her demeanor changed as she feared for her life. She has nowhere to go, and it's just a matter of time before Elea kills her.
So, Does Lana Die in Ishura?
Yes, Lana the Moon Tempest dies in Ishura, and the killer is none other than Elea the Red Tag, based on the light novel.
After all, Elea's objective was to kill Lana to prevent anyone from spreading information about Kia the World Word to others.
Lana dies from lethal poisoning shortly after fleeing via the town's outskirts, which had survived the fire.
Sadly, Elea poisoned Lana when she rushed to her aid back in her detention cell by pressing her hands to her lips. Elea then uses life arts to release the poison, slowly killing Lana.
