Does Crosshair Know Tech Died in The Bad Batch Season 2?
Take note that while Crosshair and Tech are the closest among the bunch, the former is not aware of his whereabouts, especially considering that he's betrayed his team for the Empire.
But in the newest episodes of The Bad Batch season 3, Omega and Crosshair mention Tech a few times without giving away the full story. In short, Crosshair doesn't know about Tech yet.
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 episode 3 titled Shadow of Tantiss, Omega tells Crosshair that they can contact Hunter and Wrecker from the crushed shuttle if the comms are working.
The only time that Omega mentions Tech is when she runs out of ideas on how to escape. To this, Crosshair asks her, "Did they teach you Plan 72?" Omega responds with, "Tech had me memorable all the plans."
While looking solemn over the loss of their friend, Crosshair is unaware of Tech's status, simply replying with, "Of course he did." Putting all his belief and trust in his friend.
Once episode 4 titled A Different Approach came to light, Crosshair presumes that Hunter and Wrecker may be dead for a while now, seeing as he and Omega have been stuck with the Empire for months.
Still, Omega holds hope that the team is safe and sound in their Havoc Marauder shuttle.
Upon reuniting with the Bad Batchers, Crosshair has a bigger challenge to overcome first: gaining their trust again.

Tech's Death Remains a Mystery in Season 3 So Far
Considering that Crosshair and Omega have been busy planning their escape from the Empire, there were little to no open chances to discuss everything that has happened to the Bad Batchers since Crosshair left them.
As for Tech's status in the series, nothing has popped out about it yet. However, this doesn't stop fans from hoping that Tech would pull the Star Wars miracle of still being alive in the end.
There's a chance that the next episodes will be revealing more about what Crosshair has missed from the Bad Batchers since season 1.
