Doctor Strange 2: Xochitl Gomez Shares Awesome BTS Video from MCU Sequel

There is little doubt that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is an exciting film that was equally fun to shoot. Xochitl Gomez, who plays America Chavez in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, clearly enjoyed working on the movie. The young actor has shared a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at how they filmed the MCU flick!

The new video was shared by Xochitl Gomez and it compiles several little snippets of her working on Doctor Strange 2. We get to see Gomez with Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, and Benedict Wong. In addition to that, there's an awesome shot of the young actor with her stunt double who looks almost identical to her. Check it out below.

We're loving these little glimpses at the cast having fun while working on Doctor Strange 2. It's enjoyable to see that most of the scenes we loved, including the major fight scene in the middle of New York, were filmed on practical sets. With that in mind, we're glad to see that it all worked out and everyone had fun.

Xochitl Gomez is clearly a young woman who promotes positivity, and she was happy to play America Chavez because she represents the same thing.

"What's really amazing about her is that in the MCU version of America, she's 14 years old and I was 14 when I shot it," Gomez told People. "So [I was literally] playing my age and that's a really big deal because [a lot] of teens don't get to feel represented because [there are] 20-year-olds playing 15-year-olds."

She added, "What I also loved [about playing America] is that she's resilient and she is charismatic ... Even though literally, the entire world is against her, she's hopeful and you want to root for her. That's a really positive representation for Latinas and teens."

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still screening in theaters worlwide.
