Who Are Tsuge and Minato in Cherry Magic?
Masato Tsuge is a 30-year-old romance novel writer who is close friends with Adachi.
Like Adachi, he also acquired the power to hear someone’s thoughts the moment he touched them. He usually works at home, leading anyone to think that he is a shady, shut-in old man.
As the plot unfolds, Tsuge adopts a cat who was left in the rain. He called it Udon, and little did he know that this cat would have a significant impact on his persona.
On the other hand, Minato is a 23-year-old delivery man who has a dream to become a professional dancer. He’s usually the one assigned to deliver Tsuge’s online orders, which led to their encounter.
At first, Minato is irritated with Tsuge for the many times he returned to his home brought upon by redeliveries.
He has a negative impression of Tsuge, but after seeing Udon, things begin to change between the two of them, not for the worse but for the better.
As Adachi and Kurosawa’s romance develops, so does Tsuge and Minato’s relationship in the Cherry Magic series.

As of writing, Tsuge and Minato are dating in the Cherry Magic manga series. This is after Minato accomplishes his dream of becoming a professional dancer and Tsuge gives in to his real feelings, leading to his confession.
It did not come as a surprise that Tsuge and Minato finally hit it off. They complement each other despite the differences in their personalities and their dreams.
Whenever Minato is in a slump, Tsuge is there to support and cheer for him, as if he’s igniting a fire in his body.
The same can be said with Tsuge, who was inspired by Minato to create great characters in his stories.
