Disneyland Promises to Help Feed People During the COVID-19 Pandemic


The spread of COVID_19 might have forced Disneyland to shut down for the time being, but it looks that won't stop the House of Mouse from doing what it can during the novel coronavirus outbreak.

According to a report by Cinema Blend, Disney Parks is thinking of donating goods to people during the COVID-19 outbreak. The House of Mouse has just confirmed that all of the unused food during shutdown is going to be donated to an area food bank in California.

While this might seem like pretty pleasant and generous news, Disneyland has apparently had a deal arranged since 2014 which promises that the theme park would donate any food that goes unused to the Second Harvest food bank in Orange County. Still, it's great to see Disney giving during this time of crisis.

This news means that the food bank is still going to have a lot of extra food to give to marginalized during the outbreak. COVID-19 has forced people to self-quarantine and stay at home. With fewer people outside and with so many places closed, finding food has become rather difficult.Disneyland donating to the Second Harvest in Orange County really helps in a time like this.
