Disney Will Let Terminally Ill Fan Watch Avengers: Endgame Early

It looks like there is a little bit of hope in the universe, as Marvel and Disney have granted a dying fan's wish, letting him watch Avengers: Endgame ahead of everyone else. The fan petitioned to get this done sometime last year so the fact that one of his final wishes is coming true will make a lot of people happy. This is going to warm the hearts of a lot of fans, though it might be a bit bittersweet for some since diseases like these will always be tragic.

Alexander, the 33-year-old fan who made his plight known on Reddit, revealed that Disney and Marvel have granted his request, so he will be watching this movie soon (via Mirror). Seeing big companies like Marvel and Disney grant requests like this is super nice, even though we wish that he would live like the rest of us--free from illness.

"Disney have reached out and we are discussing options. I cried when I read their email. It's everything I hoped for and I owe it all to you."

There were a lot of factors that led to this, with some of the people in Reddit helping out in a huge way. One person even knew who Chris Hemsworth was, which might have been a huge help in the big picture. Honestly, at a time where we're all at each other's throats over the pettiest things, moments like these are worth living for.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
