Disney Reveals When Marvel Studios Plans To Start Making Phase 4 Announcements

Marvel fans were all expecting Marvel Studios to make Phase 4 announcements after the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. After all, the film was supposed to culminate the past 10 years of the MCU. As it turns out, Marvel has no intention of making Phase 4 announcements anytime before the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Now, word on the street says that we'll be getting Phase 4 news at Disney's D23 instead. The Mickey Mouse House just recently announced its schedule for the 2019 D23, and it looks like Marvel is preparing to drop some major news about its plans.

Disney just recently released the full schedule for its fan convention and it seems like the company has scheduled the entirety of Saturday, August 24 to its film division. Not only will we hear news about Walt Disney's upcoming live-action films, we'll also get to hear from Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Studios.

"The Walt Disney Studios will present a behind-the-scenes look at its blockbuster collection of upcoming films on Saturday, August 24, at 10 a.m. Fans will see what's on the drawing board for the acclaimed filmmakers at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios and get a peek at the exciting slate of live-action projects, from Disney to Marvel Studios to Star Wars. As always, attendees will be treated to exclusive footage, special guest appearances, and more!"

D23 comes a month or so after the release of Far From Home, so its very possible that we'll get to hear Phase 4 news then. We're definitely excited to hear what kind of films and projects Marvel has lined up for the MCU post – Avengers: Endgame.
