Scarlett Johansson's ongoing legal battle with Disney is still a tough pill to swallow for most fans not only because her relationship with the company has become tainted, but it also hurts her chances of ever returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a franchise that is operated by the House of Mouse. As it stands, we haven't heard updates from the actress' camp regarding the breach of contract lawsuit she filed late last month but it looks like Disney is already taking action by "snapping" her out of existence from the company.

We reported yesterday the Disney has officially severed all ties with the Marvel Cinematic Universe actress following her internet-breaking lawsuit. In a follow-up report from the good folks over at The Disinder, the entertainment website confirmed the rumors and said that Scarlett's upcoming Tower of Terror project which was announced just last June will no longer be pushing through.

This is just one of many undisclosed projects that the 36-year-old actress was supposed to do with the House of Mouse. As of writing, Disney has yet to release an official statement regarding the matter so as believable as the reports are, take it with a grain of salt still.

There's no denying that the tension that has been boiling between Scarlett and Disney over the last couple of weeks is getting a lot worse so the idea of her losing a project produced by the company itself doesn't sound too farfetched to believe when you think about it. I mean, do you honestly expect them to still have a good working relationship after the lawsuit was filed?

Black Widow is still streaming via Disney+'s Premier Access.
