Disney Pixar: No One Wants John Lasseter Back

News had just come out that John Lasseter will be leaving Disney and Pixar come the end of 2018, and though he is set to wrap up his work in the coming months, some sources suggest that nobody there wants him back.

According to Deadline, some people even went so far as to say that they will quit if Lasseter ever comes back to the fold. A petition has even come out on Change.org saying:

"If Lasseter is allowed to return, it is not only an insult to the current contributions of hundreds of employees that contribute more to the company's success, but also will demonstrate that such behavior will be tolerated by Disney-Pixar. Lasseter's return would be a direct dismissal of those he has hurt, and his continued presence would contribute to an unsafe environment of mistrust."

After news came out that Lasseter was making several of his co-workers uncomfortable, he had then taken a leave of absence from the studio. Now he is coming back for the last six months, and nobody is happy about it either.

Though a lot of people appreciate Lasseter's achievements when it comes to pushing 3D animation in cinema, that rep hasn't saved him from the sharp axe that is the #MeToo Movement. Various celebrities are being outed for misbehavior left and right, and Lasseter is probably one of the biggest names to be taken down.

He surely won't be the last.
