Disney Fans Disappointed With The First Picture Of The Upcoming Live-Action Kim Possible Movie

Disney just released the first official photos of the live-action Kim Possible movie's Dr. Drakken (Todd Stashwick) and Shego (Taylor Ortega), and fans don't seem to be that happy with the picture's that their getting.

Entertainment Weekly just recently showed off their exclusive first look photo of Kim Possible's most notorious baddies, and while Stashwick certainly has an expression befitting the evil megalomaniac Dr. Draken, he doesn't have the skin color to prove it. Fair-skinned and slim, Dr. Drakken's original blue skin color has been replaced with blue veins.

According to the publication, director Adam B. Stein and his co-director Zach Lipovsky decided against giving Dr. Drakken his signature blue skin to give the character a more grounded look, opting instead for a "blue infection" kind of thing.

"It's like some experiment or some dastardly plan went wrong years ago and now he's got this side effect where he's got a bluish hue," Lipovsky explained in an interview with EW.

Ortego's Shego doesn't look that bad though – the character looks pretty spot-on.

"Shego is one of the funniest characters from the original show, but she's also incredibly tough," Stein explained. "We had to find someone who could be hilarious and pull off the eye rolls and nail filing that Shego's known for, while still being physically threatening."

However, while fans are loving Shego's new live-action look, netizens aren't too keen on Dr. Drakken.

We wonder whether these reactions might affect the final design for the characters. Let's wait and see.

Kim Possible is expected to premiere sometime next year.
