In See You on Venus, Mia has a heart condition that makes her very weak. She lands in the hospital where she is advised to go through an important surgery that could save her life.
During this time, Mia had already decided to give up on her life. She even booked a one-way ticket to Spain in the hopes of looking for her birth mother.
When she finally meets her mother, she has a change of heart. After Kyle tells her to rethink her decision, Mia decides to get the surgery.
Thankfully, things aren't too late for Mia. She gets the surgery and is able to live through her condition.
How Does See You on Venus End?

See You on Venus ended on a positive note as Mia survived her condition. Meanwhile, Kyle remembers how his friend (Noah) died. As it turned out, their third friend (Josh) distracted Kyle with a video. This caused Kyle to lose control of the vehicle and get into a crash.
Upon recalling this memory, Kyle gives Josh a call to apologize. Josh, who is now disabled, also apologizes to Kyle and they learn to forgive themselves.
