I think we can all agree that Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame was an emotional thrill ride and it sure was home to several moments a lot of us are still talking about today. However, one fan claims that the 2019 superhero film also dubbed as "the highest-grossing movie of all time" took a little page out of DC's playbook by directly ripping off a particular key scene from a 2009 animated film which starred 2/3 of the comic book giant's Trinity — Batman and Superman.

A new video "evidence" is circulating online which shows a comparison between Endgame's pivotal scene and a clip from the 2009 animated film Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and it's causing quite the debate on Twitter.

User Fatal Jay shared the clip and it features the scene where Captain Marvel rescues Tony Stark and Nebula and a scene from the animated film which sees Batman getting rescued by Superman and both scenes takes place in space while our heroes are shown in their most vulnerable state. You may think it's only coincidental but both scenes had similar framing and their similarities are quite uncanny. Check it out for yourself below:

Whether you believe this was all intentional or just a mere coincidence, I'll leave that one up to you. One thing's for sure though, this "rivalry" between fans of Marvel and DC which has been going on for literally half a century now isn't coming to an end anytime soon and I guess that's something we just have to accept and live with. I mean, after all, we're allowed to enjoy the things we like, right?

Avengers: Endgame currently holds the title of the biggest-selling movie of all time, earning 2.798 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.
