It's time to revisit a classic game. Blizzard has just confirmed the Diablo II: Resurrected technical alpha release date and it's a lot sooner than you think.

The announcement was made by the official Diablo Twitter account. Check it out below.

A press release also confirmed that the technical alpha will cover Act I and II. The first act will find participants at the Rogue Encampment where they will begin their search for the Dark Wanderer. The second act, titled The Secret of the Vizjerei, will bring them to the city of Lut Gholein.

Participants will be able to choose between Amazon, Barbarian, and Sorceress as their class. For now, it has not yet been confirmed if there will be other classes available after the technical alpha.

The new Diablo II is certainly something to look forward to considering it was one of the game franchise's best titles. Personally, I loved playing the game and the new version is something that I am looking forward to. In addition to that, I'm wondering if Andariel will look just as terrifying as the first time I had to go up against her in Act I.

The Diablo II: Resurrected technical alpha is open for PC players and will begin on April 9, 2021, at 7 a.m. PT. It will then be live until April 12th at 10 a.m. PT so that players can get a full weekend to test out the Diablo classic.
