Japanese superstar LiSA is officially a mom. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba theme singer is celebrating the birth of her first child. In addition to that, the Gurenge singer confirmed she will be releasing new music soon.
LiSA shared the news on her official Instagram account. The post confirms the news in Japanese, English and Traditional Chinese.
"I’d like to share some personal news, that I recently gave birth to my first child," LiSA wrote. "I’m back stronger than ever, and so excited to continue making music for everyone."
She continued, "Thank you all for your continued support & I promise I’ll see you soon! Today’s another great day."
LiSA is best known for performing the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's opening theme songs Gurenge, Homura and Akeboshi. She also sang the Sword Art Online songs Oath Sign, Crossing Field, and Catch the Moment.
In the meantime, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is on a roll with its third season. The latest episode has ramped up the Swordsmith Village arc with the arrival of two Upper Rank demons at the titular village.
In Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3, Gyokko and Hantengu have found the Swordsmith Village and decided to kill the villagers to weaken the Demon Slayer Corps. However, they did not expect that the village had several swordsmen including two Hashiras.
The episode featured the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito working with Tanjiro Kamado as they faced Hantengu. The Upper Rank demon was easily decapitated but his body quickly transformed into two powerful clones. When Genya Shinaguzawa shoots at the clones, they further transform and result into four powerful demons.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 3 is titled A Sword from Over 300 Years Ago ("Sanbyaku-nen Ijo Mae no Katana"). The fourth episode is titled Thank You Tokito ("Tokito-kun Arigato") and will premiere on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
