Kadokawa is ramping up promotion for the show with the release of a new Delicious in Dungeon trailer, which also reveals the anime’s opening theme by Bump of Chicken.
Along with a preview of the anime’s theme song, Kadokawa also revealed the show’s two-cour release schedule.
The new trailer also features English subtitles which is a rarity given that most new trailers are in Japanese only.
The show’s four main cast members have been revealed before, but now, three new VAs have been announced alongside the latest trailer.
More Delicious in Dungeon Voice Cast Members Revealed
Delicious in Dungeon is a highly anticipated fantasy anime thanks in part to the popular manga series that it’s based on. Many are also excited about the show’s release as it’s made by Trigger (of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fame).
Previously, the show’s four main cast members were announced, including Kentaro Kumagai (Rajak Kertia in Noblesse) and Sayaka Senbongi (Kiruko in Heavenly Delusion).
Now, three new cast members were revealed. The first is Saori Hayami as Falin, the main character Laios’ sister.
Hayami is a popular VA who is best known for voicing Yor Forger in Spy x Family and Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer.
Also joining the cast is Shinji Kawada, the voice actor of Shino Aburame in Naruto, Oluo Bozado in Attack on Titan, and Yuya Tomita in Shokugeki no Soma.
In Delicious in Dungeon, Kawada voices Shuro, a swordfighter who was previously a member of Laios’ party.
Finally, there’s Akira Miki as the dwarf Namari, another previous party member. Miki is a rookie VA, and this role is one of her first major ones.

Delicious in Dungeon Trailer Previews Opening Theme
Along with the cast, the Delicious in Dungeon opening theme was also revealed, and it is titled Sleep Walking Orchestra by the popular Japanese band Bump of Chicken.
This band has performed lots of popular anime songs. Most recently, the band performed Souvenir, which is the second opening of Spy x Family Season 1.
The band also performed songs for Blood Blockade Battlefront and March Comes In Like a Lion.

Finally, it was revealed that the anime will have a consecutive two-cour release schedule. This means it will have around 24 episodes and will air until June 2024.
Delicious in Dungeon will premiere in January 2024, and it will be streamed internationally on Netflix.
