Deborah Ann Woll Pens Tearful Tribute To Daredevil

There is little doubt that fans are currently mourning over the unexpected cancellation of Daredevil. Not surprisingly, Deborah Ann Woll is just as disappointed as the rest of the world and has penned an emotional post in honor of the beloved show.

Woll took to her official Twitter account to share her thoughts about the cancellation. The former True Blood star paid tribute to the series by posting its posters and added a heartfelt caption. Take a look at her tweet below.

"I'm so sad that we won't be continuing this story. Mostly I'll miss seeing the friends I've made every day. Thank you to every person who contributed to this series over the years," Woll wrote. She also added a shoutout to showrunner Erik Oleson.

"And to @erikoleson because of you, we are going out on a high," she wrote before tagging the show's official Twitter account and the hashtag #Daredevil.

Interestingly, Oleson has yet to comment on the show's cancellation. After all, the Season 3 showrunner had excitedly shared that he has already pitched his ideas for a fourth season to Netflix. There is little doubt that Oleson is hurting over the show's fate but he isn't the only one who is feeling bad about the cancellation.

Daredevil is the fourth Marvel show that has been canceled in the past two months. Netflix had previously put a stop to Iron Fist then Luke Cage in October. It is still unclear if the streaming giant still has plans for Jessica Jones Season 3 although a third season was announced earlier this year. In the meantime, The Punisher Season 3 is expected to air by 2019.
