Deadpool Star Ryan Reynolds' Lost Teddy Bear has been Found

A few days ago, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds had offered $5000 to anyone who could relocate a lost teddy bear that was lost in Vancouver. While news was silent about it for a few days, Reynolds has updated that the bear has been found.

To get you up to speed about why the bear meant so much, it actually contains a voice recording of the owner's mother who had died last year of cancer. Mara Soriano, who owned the bear, had said this about the stuffed animal when it was lost: "At hospice [my mother's] voice was different. Much softer. Not the mom I grew up with," said Soriano. "That bear is the last memory I have of her speaking in her normal voice. She said that she loved me and she was proud of me and that she'll always be with me."

We have no details as to how the bear was returned, but Reynolds definitely played a huge part in its return. While the original post of the lost bear only earned 40k likes, Reynolds had boosted it by retweeting and gaining more than 300k likes. Good thing it didn't have to take too long to find this bear. I'm just curious if she managed to get her iPad back as well.

For now, Reynolds, like a lot of other actors, are out of work. A lot of people are hoping he makes his MCU debut soon, but even without COVID-19, it will probably have to wait for a few more years. Reynolds next film, Free Guy comes out this Dec. 11.
