Deadpool 3 is the hottest buzz around being the most anticipated Marvel film right now. Not only is Ryan Reynolds’ titular antihero officially debuting in the MCU, but Hugh Jackman will be returning to reprise his long-awaited role as X-Men’s Wolverine, which of course, undoubtedly features a showdown between the two.
Recently, Jackman’s stunt double for Deadpool 3, Daniel Stevens, shared a new reel on his Instagram featuring a picture of himself at the gym. While showing off his working biceps and arms, Stevens hinted at a Deadpool vs. Wolverine battle in his caption: “Thanks for everything you’ve done for my career @vancityreynolds but now I’m preparing for your beating. #TeamWolverine #wolverine10 #Deadpool3 @deadpoolmovie #stuntman #stuntdouble #dadbod”.

This isn’t the first time that Deadpool 3 has hinted at a Deadpool vs. Wolverine battle. In fact, even fans surmised that the two beloved heroes (and actors) were bound to team up sometime in the future, and now that it’s finally happening, Deadpool 3 is turning out to be as jaw-dropping as ever!
Little is known about the official plot synopsis for Deadpool 3, however, seeing that the latest MCU films have been leaning more and more towards the multiverse, signs point to yes with the threequel also heading in a similar direction.
From Spider-Man: No Way Home to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and most recently, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, this could easily explain the sudden jump of Deadpool and Wolverine into the MCU.
What even makes more sense is the perfect marketing strategy for the film, beginning with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman goofing around by simply brushing off the statement they should be collabing on Deadpool 3, which eventually led to even more online banter to keep the MCU fans on the hook.
