Deadpool 2’s Ryan Reynolds Reveals The X-Force Member That Deserves Their Own Spinoff

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Deadpool 2.

Deadpool 2 might have had a lot of interesting mutants in its bank, but according to Ryan Reynolds, it's the powerless Peter that deserves to get his own spinoff movie.

Though the X-Force's different mutant members like the Vanisher (Brad Pitt), Bedlam (Terry Crews) and Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) might have impressed fans the moment they appeared to audition for Wade Wilson's X-Force, Reynolds says that his favorite character in the movie is actually the regular joe, Peter.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 1, the Deadpool star went on gushing about how much he loved Peter and how the character deserved his own Deadpool movie called Absolutely Peter or Deadpool 3: Absolutely Peter.

Those who've seen Deadpool 2 know that Peter, like the other members of the X-Force, had very little to do with the film. After showing up for X-Force auditions, the team heads out to rescue Firefist (Julian Dennison), however, Deadpool gives them the wrong timing when it came to pulling out their parachutes and all of the members die –excluding Domino (Zazie Beetz) who took pride in her luck.

However, using Cable's (Josh Brolin) time traveling device Deadpool manages to save all of the X-Force members from doom, and that includes Peter. We wonder whether we'll really be able to see Peter in Deadpool 3 after Wade shooed him away though.

Deadpool 2 is currently screening in cinemas.
