DC's Animated Justice League Dark Movie is Getting a Sequel

Justice League Dark has ended up being one of the more beloved DC Animated Movies so it's actually going to get a sequel. The DC Animated Universe has had a few direct follow-ups in the past since it's similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe where every installment counts. Fans are going to be very happy that a sequel, called Justice League Dark Apocalypse, will come out in 2020.

Newsarama has confirmed that Justice League Dark Apocalypse will be coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and digital markets sometime in 2020. The movie will then debut on DC Universe 90 days after it comes to physical media, which is a good way to entice fans to check out their streaming service. Unfortunately, no details were given about the sequel but it should be something fans can look forward to.

The first Justice League Dark movie gave us the creepy team of Constantine, Deadman, Etrigan, Swamp Thing, and Zatanna, with Batman to make sure the movie sells. It's worth noting that the current version of this group has Wonder Woman, Man-Bat, and Detective Chimp, alongside favorites like Swamp Thing so it will be interesting to see if Justice League Dark Apocalypse has this team.

Or maybe it will feature Darkseid? I mean, it has the word Apocalypse in it. True, it should be spelled Apokalips for The New Gods to be involved but you never know.

Justice League Dark Apocalypse is slated for a 2020 release. Justice League Dark is available now on Blu-ray and DVD.
