DC Officially Announces Fandome Online Event Featuring The Batman, Wonder Woman 1984, and More

It looks like DC doesn't want San Diego Comic-Con to have all the fun since the company has officially announced its big online event after reports caught a whiff of the story. This big virtual event will be called Fandome, which will begin on August 22 so fans have a lot of time to kill before thinking about the show. DC looks like it will be putting out all the stops to make sure fans will attend, showcasing a number of their big movies, shows, and comic books.

According to GamesRadar, the show will have new announcements regarding the following: Aquaman, The Batman, Batwoman, Black Adam, Black Lightning, DC Super Hero Girls, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, DC's Stargirl, Doom Patrol, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Lucifer, Pennyworth, SHAZAM!, the SnyderCut, The Suicide Squad, Supergirl, Superman & Lois, Teen Titans GO!, Titans, Watchmen, Young Justice: Outsiders, and Wonder Woman 1984.

Knowing that we'll get to see more about The Batman and Wonder Woman 1984 is pretty good. No one is also surprised about the fact that The CW's DC shows are going strong and there's a good chance that we'll see the new Batwoman during this event.

What is a major surprise is that Watchmen will be a part of the event. Showrunner Damon Lindelof has explicitly stated that he's done with the series so they might announce a new season with a different showrunner since Lindelof has given his blessing for that to happen. This could also end up being a new comic book, which will probably get a mixed response.

Either way, it looks like we have a lot to look forward to with the DC Fandome online show. It will premiere on August 22 and is free for everyone, so no need to be a DC Universe or HBO Max subscriber.
