It is well-known in the DC fandom that there is a struggle between Warner Brothers and fans regarding the Snyderverse. Tipster Mikey Sutton noted that DC Films will continue on its path of trying to mimic the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the tipster, some of the reasons why some executives do not want the Snyderverse is because it doesn't fit their vision where most of the movies are largely headed.

DC Films is open to release some darker, R-rated films such as Joker but the budgets will be quite lower for certain movies. Sutton said that he was told that the tone of Shazam!, Wonder Woman 1984, and Birds of Prey will reflect the future of mainstream DC Films.

The tipster further added that DC Films apparently wants their own version of Deadpool. They own crazy Ambush Bug, who was the ‘80s Deadpool in his current form. Unfortunately, they have done nothing with him.

Sutton further noted in the article that Marvel Studios isn't huge just because of their comedic formula. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was able to create a narrative thread that connects all of MCU's films together. They are able to make the Ant-Man franchise important to the whole MCU.

As for WB, they can continue with the Snyderverse while continuing with their other projects. DC not only has the multiverse but also the Elseworlds which makes it possible for them to continue doing the Snyderverse without it affecting the other projects in the line. The best part is that it will put them in good standing with the fans while offering connectivity and uniqueness to the audience.
