DC Entertainment Announces Harley Quinn’s Synopsis And Release Window

It looks like Warner Brothers has begun giving fans of a map of the future the studio has planned for the DC Extended Universe.

This morning DC Entertainment just provided fans with a buck load of information about what they have in store for everyone in their all-in-one streaming service and among the many surprises revealed was the official synopsis and release window for the studio's animated series based on popular DC villain, Harley Quinn.

According to DC's release (via ComicBook.Com), the animated series Harley Quinn will follow the adventures of Harley right after she breaks up with the Joker and makes it on her own in the studio's new adult comedy. Along with Poison Ivy and a motley crew of other DC Villains, the series will see Harley trying her best to win a seat in the DC's Universe's biggest circle of baddies, the Legion of Doom.

Because of its adult comedy rating, some have started speculating that the series might also feature Harley in a romantic relationship with Poison Ivy. Not only is the relationship comic book canon, but Ivy's name is prominently mentioned in the description of Harley Quinn.

Along with Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing and Young Justice Outsiders, Harley Quinn will see release sometime in 2019 on DC's streaming service website.
