DC Comics Teasing Dark Knights: Metal Sequel

Dark Knights: Metal was seen by many as one of the better DC events released in recent memory, even if it was a bit confusing for newcomers. Building off from Scott Snyder's Batman run and Final Crisis, the event gave us some sublime superhero action along with some odd storytelling, though that wasn't a major complaint with hardcore DC fans.

It looks like a sequel is on the way as an official teaser image from DC Comics has been released. Batman and Dark Knights: Metal artist Greg Capullo also shared the art, getting fans even more excited for what could happen. Seeing Wonder Woman with a chainsaw-like sword is pretty inspired and we can't wait to see what kind of crazy action Capullo will be drawing.

Considering how Wonder Woman played a huge role in the original Dark Knights: Metal, we wouldn't be surprised if she continues playing a big part here. We're also expecting Batman to do a lot of cool stuff since this creative team clearly loves the Dark Knight. That's basically a given from them and it's not like fans are complaining about that.

Snyder confirmed a Dark Knights: Metal sequel awhile ago, though nothing concrete came from those claims, at least until now. We're not sure what kind of story can be told, especially since a number of the plotlines have been covered by various comics, but we're interested in seeing what they have planned.

No release date for the Dark Knights: Metal sequel has been revealed.
