The Winter 24 season just started, but we’re already getting more 2024 anime release date announcements that are coming later this year. One of these is the new rom-com anime Days With My Stepsister, which confirmed its July premiere.
This upcoming anime was announced back in July 2022. It may have taken a while, but the series is finally confirmed to release soon.
On top of its release, the anime also shared new character visuals for its two main characters, Yuta Asamura and Saki Ayase.
Studio Deen’s New Rom-Com Anime Reveals New Character Visuals
Days With My Stepsister is a rom-com by Studio Deen, a long-running studio that is best known for working on popular shows over the years such as Sasaki and Miyano and KonoSuba's first two seasons.
This series has a light novel and manga series which both began in 2021, though the series itself didn’t start like that.
Instead, Days With My Stepsister began as a YouTube series in 2020. The series started as various skits that presented various scenarios featuring its main characters.
With the show’s premiere coming soon, the show revealed the character visuals of Yuta Asamura and Saki Ayase.
Also revealed are the show’s main voice cast members, which include:
- Kohei Amasaki (Neito Monoma in My Hero Academia) as Yuta Asamura
- Yuki Nakashima (Mirei Minae in Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress) as Saki Ayase
- Minori Suzuki (Rosina in Ascendance of a Bookworm) as Shiori Yomiuri
- Daiki Hamano (Katana Man in Chainsaw Man) as Tomokazu Maru
- Ayu Suzuki as Maaya Narasaka

Days With My Stepsister Anime Premieres in Summer 2024
As its title implies, Days With My Stepsister is exactly how it sounds. The series follows Yuta Asamura, a second-year high school student who finds himself getting a new stepsister, Saki Ayase.
Yuta and Saki became stepsiblings when Yuta’s father remarried. Because of their experiences with their parents, Yuta and Saki decide to keep a distance from each other.
Soon though, the two become closer as they discover that they have similar feelings toward one another.
The Days With My Stepsister anime is confirmed to premiere in July 2024, though right now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date. There’s also no word on a streaming platform partner.
For those who can’t wait, the YouTube channel’s videos are available with English subtitles. Plus, the light novels and manga are being published in North America by Yen Press.
