David Harbour Says Stranger Things Season 4 Will See Hopper Getting Into The 'Warrior Realm'

We're still waiting for Stranger Things Season 4 but David Harbour is already hyping up Chief Hopper's transformation in the Netflix series. The Black Widow star says that his character will be entering the "warrior realm" in the upcoming season.

Harbour is still promoting the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick but he can't help but express his excitement about Stranger Things Season 4. The Hellboy actor was recently a guest on the That Scene With Dan Patrick podcast (via Entertainment Weekly) and he pointed out how Hopper will be different in the fourth season.

According to Harbour, Hopper will be returning into "the warrior realm because there's something as you get to be the dad role where, you know, it's a bit like the dad gene." He further explained that being a father in the previous seasons had changed his character.

"You start to become less of a viable presence in the world," Harbour stated. "They're more like, 'Oh, dad' — like someone who people are humiliated by, and like, I'm not quite ready for that. I still want to be, like, a presence."

There is little doubt that we'll be seeing a completely different Hopper in Season 4. The first teaser for the upcoming season confirmed he is still alive but has been taken to Russia. It's pretty obvious that Hopper will go through a lot when the series returns and we can't wait to see him in action.

Stranger Things Season 4 is still in production and has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
