Although the video has since been taken down, that hasn't stopped people from talking about the effects of the post on Park's career. For instance, there have been speculations that the former Phantom Menace actor will not be brought back to play Darth Maul in one of the new Star Wars shows that will air on Disney+.
It was previously reported that Disney and Lucasfilm are already planning several new Star Wars shows, one of which could focus on Maul and Q'ira after the events in Solo: A Star Wars Story. In addition to that, the former Sith Lord is expected to make an appearance in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. With that in mind, fans were already hoping that Park will be asked to play Maul yet again. Unfortunately, the latest news about the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra star might make the studios change their mind about the casting.
Park allegedly posted a video of himself on Instagram that shows him being "serviced" by his wife. The post was quickly taken down by the social media platform but the news still circulated all over Twitter, leading to Star Wars fans wondering if Park will still be cast in the Disney+ shows.
For now, Park has yet to address the issue. Likewise, Disney and Lucasfilm have not announced whether the actor will be back in the upcoming shows. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
