The latest teaser for Daredevil season 3 is a frightening one, as it's all about the Kingpin aka Wilson Fisk. He might not have appeared in season 2 or The Defenders, but he has not forgotten what happened to him at the hands of Daredevil. His time in prison has only made him angrier and it seems like this will be the catalyst for the Born Again arc.
At only 40 seconds, the teaser lets us know that Fisk is filled with rage and he is not going to show Matt Murdock's alter ego any mercy. Much like the original teaser that showed us the new mindset of Daredevil, this one reveals that Fisk is no longer blinded by love. Love is what he had for the city of New York and a woman named Vanessa, but it seems like his time in prison has changed all that.
In the teaser, we also see a number of quickly edited scenes featuring Fisk. We not only see him in a shiny new outfit, but there are also scenes of him working out in a prison suit. It seems like the Kingpin has only gotten stronger and that's definitely going to give Daredevil a lot of problems. Fisk has shown how dangerous he can be in the first season, so it looks like he will be even more ruthless now.
Considering how Daredevil has changed, their eventual encounter is going to be an interesting one. Netflix has shown that they are willing to change the status quo for these heroes, whether it's a powerless Danny Rand or a corrupted Luke Cage, there are no limits (aside from main character deaths).
Season 3 of Marvel's Daredevil debuts exclusively on Netflix October 19th, 2018.
