Daredevil, Punisher, Jessica Jones, and More Marvel Shows to be Removed From Netflix

There is little doubt that fans are still upset about the cancellation of all the Marvel shows on Netflix back in 2018. However, it looks like they are set for another major disappointment. It has been revealed that Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and the other shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be removed from the streaming service soon!

It has been revealed that Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and The Defenders will be leaving Netflix on March 1, 2022. It is still unclear if the removal is permanent or if the shows will be available again in the future.

It's a shocking move considering that fans are hoping that the Marvel shows will continue to be available on Netflix even after the cancellation. However, the news also offers hope that the shows are being removed to make way for new MCU projects featuring the characters.

We already know that both Kingpin and Matt Murdock have now returned to the MCU. Vincent D'Onofrio reprised his role as Wilson Fisk in Hawkeye while Charle Cox showed up in Spider-Man: No Way Home. With two characters from Daredevil making an appearance in the MCU, there is a good chance we'll be seeing the likes of Jessica Jones or Frank Castle in the future.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether the characters from the Netflix Marvel shows will be joining the MCU. Still, fans are not giving up on the hope that they will return for a reboot of their shows or appear in other MCU projects in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and The Defenders will be available for streaming on Netflix until Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
