The first Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has finally been dropped and people can't stop talking about the sequel's unexpected plot. Although there was so much to see in the teaser, Daredevil fans zeroed in on a scene that may have confirmed Matt Murdock is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.
The Spider-Man 3 trailer reveals the aftermath of Mysterio's actions in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Peter Parker has now been declared Public Enemy #1 and at one point, he is taken in for questioning by the police.
This particular moment is singled out by Daredevil fans as a man in a white shirt places several documents on the table in front of people. Although the man's face is not shown, people are convinced it is a certain blind lawyer from Hell's Kitchen.
Some have pointed out that the man possesses Charlie Cox's hairy forearms while others believe that they've seen that ass in a Marvel Netflix show before.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if Matt makes an appearance, possibly as Peter's lawyer, in Spider-Man 3. After all, there have been reports of Charlie Cox shooting scenes for the highly anticipated sequel. However, the Daredevil star's involvement has not yet been confirmed by Marvel and Sony so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. The movie will premiere exclusively in theaters on December 17, 2021.
