Daniel Craig's Hidden Marvel Role Gets Leaked By Elizabeth Olsen

Many actors have donned the 007 suits, but Daniel Craig has carved out his name as one of the most memorable names to have portrayed James Bond.

When the rumor surfaced that Craig was in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans were sure they were in and waited for this supposed MCU debut last year.

But when the actor’s anticipated appearance did not come through, fans were asking if it was ever real, and now, new information gets revealed as MCU icon Elizabeth Olsen spills the details about Craig’s mystery Marvel role.

Sitting down recently with Happy Sad Confused's Josh Horowitz, Olsen confirmed that Craig was set to play Balder the Brave in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

“Yes, that's what I thought was going to happen… I saw the art. They made a costume. They had a design.” said Olsen when Horowitz shared that he asked Craig about playing Balder the Brave.

In January, Craig denied the rumors that he was offered a role in Doctor Strange 2, but he did say that he’s open to working with the franchise in the future.

“No. I don't know what you're talking about. I would take any job if the hours were good... Sure, absolutely. Yeah, definitely.” the actor said.

Last year, concept artist Darrell Warner revealed on Instagram a look at Craig's Balder the Brave, sparking rumors of the actor’s MCU involvement.

“BALDER THE BRAVE | Shame this character went no further than this watercolor | Y’all know the story and if not just go and look it up online……” he wrote.

At the time, a behind-the-scenes video from Doctor Strange 2 showed Balder in a deleted MCU scene, making fans more curious about what happened and why there was no confirmation Craig was truly involved.

Balder Odinson is based on the deity Baldr from Norse mythology. He is the underutilized half-brother of Thor, a companion to the Warriors Three, and a loyal follower and son of the ruler of the gods, Odin.
