The Dangers in My Heart's first season aired during the Spring 23 season. It may have been overshadowed by anime such as Oshi no Ko and Demon Slayer Season 3 in online discussions, but it quietly became a big hit.

Near the end of the first season’s run, it was revealed that the anime recorded the highest sales in its programming block. Thus, it’s no surprise that the show was quickly renewed for a second season.

Previously, it was confirmed that Season 2 will be released in Winter 24. Now, the show’s official January 7 release date has been revealed alongside a new trailer, which you can watch here:

The show’s second season brings back its main cast, including Shun Horie (Kazuya Kinoshita in Rent-A-Girlfriend) and Hina Yomiya (Shinju Inui in My Dress-Up Darling) as Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada, respectively.

There will be new additions to the show’s cast, including Yuka Iguchi (Myne in Ascendance of a Bookworm) and Reina Ueda (Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage).
