The lover’s quarrel between DaBaby and DaniLeigh has now escalated to the point where cops are now being involved. DaBaby recently recorded a fight he had with DaniLeigh on Instagram, which included a video of police officers arriving at their home.

Police responded to a call made by DaBaby on Sunday, where he claimed that he was being physically assaulted by DaniLeigh. On Monday morning, DaBaby made the same call, only this time the police had charged the Florida-born artist with two counts of simple assault.

Before the cops arrived on Sunday, Dababy went live on Instagram. The two had an argument online while DaniLeigh was feeding their newly born three-month-old child. Cops later arrived but left without making an arrest.

Charged With Two Counts Of Misdemeanor Assault

On Monday morning, cops returned to their home, responding to Dababy’s second claim that he was being physically abused. During that time, cops found sufficient evidence to corroborate Dababy’s story, leading them to book DaniLeigh. She was charged with two misdemeanor assaults, the first instance being on Sunday and the other on Monday.

When Dababy went live on Sunday, he told fans that he was taking a video for his safety. He claimed that DaniLeigh had already assaulted him, and he was recording the video out of fear that she might turn the story around and accuse him of assaulting her.

The next day, DaBaby published a post accusing DaniLeigh of using their baby for internet clout. In the video, he didn’t mention anything about the previous night. However, he did make a promise to all of his fans that he would take care of their baby despite all the drama he and the child’s mother have been through.

Irreconcilable Differences

DaBaby mentioned in a separate post on Instagram explaining his situation. He said he no longer wanted to be with DaniLeigh because of her hostile behavior. DaBaby said things have “gone far enough,” and DaniLeigh has to leave. He added that he was “saddened” by everything because they still have a child to raise.

“I would like to swiftly remove myself from any of the hostile behavior put on display moments ago. This here thing has gone far enough for shawty to crash out on her own, and it saddens me because I still got a queen to raise,” DaBaby wrote in his post.

DaniLeigh later published a post to explain her side. She said that they have been living together for three months now since their child was born, and she doesn’t understand why she has now been suddenly asked to leave. She added that leaving is difficult for her since she has a newborn child.

Late Monday, DaniLeigh posted another photo on her Instagram account, showing her inside of an airplane. DaniLeigh said she had left DaBaby, and she and her child are now safe. She then thanks all of her fans for their support throughout the ordeal.
