Customize Your Solo: A Star Wars Story Blu-Ray with this Official Cover from Phil Noto

Solo: A Star Wars Story may have underperformed in the box office, but Lucasfilm looks to be making up for it with the home release. The movie had just hit Blu-Ray, and now StarWars.com has given us the option to give the casing a more classic look via comic artist Phil Noto.

Just in case you didn't know, Noto is also the artist behind the Poe Dameron comic, but his look for this cover is very reminiscent of Drew Struzan's work. Besides Star Wars, you'll notice that Struzan has also made several striking posters for films like Indiana Jones, Blade Runner, and even the recent Ready Player One.

I really love this promo idea to have official alternate covers that we can print out. Not only do we get a fun DIY project, but we also get some amazing official art for the movie. I'm hoping that Lucasfilm decides to do this with every other movie coming out. Maybe they can even do it for films like Force Awakens, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi.

Just keep the art coming!

Though Solo may have underperformed in the box office, the critical response to the film has been overwhelming. Alden Ehrenreich makes Solo absolutely his own character, and the movie is just one thrill ride from beginning to end. Hopefully, Lucasfilm decides to make a sequel soon after Episode IX.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is now available for digital and Blu-Ray.
