The Dragon Ball Super anime might not be returning anytime soon, but fans are at least treated with the release of the franchise’s movies. Specifically, Crunchyroll announced that 15 Dragon Ball anime movies will be available to stream on the platform.

While the latest Dragon Ball movie isn’t part of the lineup, all the previous Dragon Ball Z films along with the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie are included.

Currently, the first batch with seven films is now available in select countries, with two other batches to be released in the coming weeks.

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball is easily one of the most popular shonen franchises worldwide, as both the manga and the anime by Toei Animation continue to be incredibly popular both in Japan and internationally.

Thanks to its popularity, Dragon Ball has gotten lots of anime movie releases over the past years.

Specifically, there are now 21 movies in the franchise, with the latest being Super Hero, which was released last year.

While these movies aren’t considered canon, many series fans still have fond memories of them.

So, it’s great news that they are finally going to be available to stream on Crunchyroll so that watching them becomes more convenient.

Sadly, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is not part of the lineup, meaning fans need to buy the Blu-ray to watch it if they missed the screenings last year.
