Crisis On Infinite Earths Brings Back Birds Of Prey Star Ashley Scott As The Huntress

How big is Crisis on Infinite Earths going to be? Very, very big. The casting news continues and this time, the Arrowverse crossover event is bringing back former Birds of Prey star Ashley Scott to reprise her role as The Huntress.

The CW has just confirmed that Scott will return as Helena Kyle, the daughter of Catwoman and Batman who was one of the main cast in The WB's short-lived series Birds of Prey (via io9). Interestingly, Scott's role in Crisis on Infinite Earths could potentially reunite her with former co-star Rachel Skarsten, who once played Dinah Redmond aka Black Canary (sort of) in the 2002 show. Skarsten is currently part of the new series Batwoman where she will play the villainous Alice.

So what's happening here? It looks like The CW is digging into some of its old shows from the WB because, well, why not? Either way, it's proof that the Crisis on Infinite Earths is going to be massive from the number of guest stars.

While most of the casting news has about bringing back old characters, we also know that there are some new faces that will be joining Crisis on Infinite Earths. For instance, Osric Chau has been confirmed to play Ryan Choi aka the Atom in the crossover. The Supernatural star's casting also hints on the possibility that he could replace Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer as one of the heroes in Legends of Tomorrow.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is currently being filmed. The crossover event will kick off with the Supergirl episode which airs on The CW on December 8.
