Crisis On Infinite Earths: Brandon Routh Shares New Photo Of Clark Kent Getting A Promotion

It looks like there are going to be some major changes for Superman in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths. For one, Clark Kent won't be a "mild-mannered reporter" anymore, as Brandon Routh has somehow revealed in a new photo.

Routh shared the picture on his official Instagram account and it shows the Legends of Tomorrow star standing in front of Clark's office. Check it out below.

"Look who I found during a recent visit to the #DailyPlanet," Routh wrote before adding the hashtags #ClarkKentReturns and #CrisisOnInfiniteEarths. He also tagged @thecw, @warnerbrostv, and @dccomics in the post.

It certainly looks like Clark has learned everything he can from Perry White but we're also concerned about what happened to Perry if Clark is the new editor-in-chief of The Daily Planet. Perhaps we'll get an explanation later this year.

Routh had previously shared a photo showing him in his Kingdom Come Superman suit alongside Supergirl's own Superman Tyler Hoechlin. We're hoping to see more of these awesome images as filming continues for the crossover event.

There are more than just two Supermen showing up in the Arrowverse event. It was previously confirmed that Smallville actor Tom Welling will reprise his role as the Man of Steel. He will be joined by former co-star Erica Durance, who will return as Lois Lane in the crossover.

Crisis on Infinite Earths kicks off with the Supergirl Season 5 episode that will premiere on The CW on October 8.
