Could This New Solo TV Spot Be Teasing A Jabba The Hutt Cameo?

Earlier this year rumor had it that Jabba The Hutt would be appearing in Lucasfilm's second Star Wars spinoff, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Though the possibility of seeing Jaba appear so early in the life of Han seems a bit unlikely, some have held on to the reports.

Now, Lucasfilm's released a new TV spot that presents a few interesting possibilities for Solo's plot. In the video, we get to see Paul Bettany's, Dryden Vos. Vos is a ruthless criminal who's supposed to be the spinoff's main antagonist, and in the video, we get to see the gang leader warning Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) and the rest of his crew what'll happen if they fail their mission.

"If you do fail me, you'll all be out of options," Vos tells the crew of smugglers. "You know who I answer to."

This is the very first time we actually get to hear of Vos potentially working for someone outside of himself. Most of Lucasfilm's promotional material for Solo and most of the film's trailers have seemingly implied that Vos is the big boss in the spinoff. Could this line lead us to the potential Jabba the Hutt cameo? Or could Vos be implying that he answers to the Empire?

Guess we'll find our answer when Solo: A Star Wars Story flies into cinemas on May 25.
