Christian Bale's Thor: Love and Thunder Role Will Supposedly be an 'Intergalactic Villain'

Christian Bale has been rumored for a Thor: Love and Thunder role in recent weeks, with many of us curious about the kind of character Bale will play. Then again, most of us just love the fact that The Dark Knight star could end up in the MCU, assuming all of these rumors are true. If they can get Jake Gyllenhaal to be Mysterio, then they could get Bale to play some other villain.

According to the Illuminerdi, Bale's character will supposedly be some "intergalactic villain." Considering how vague that description is, it could literally be any character from the Thor comics. Some see this as a false lead so that they can secretly cast him as popular supporting character Beta Ray Bill but nothing concrete has been revealed yet.

There are also a lot of big villains who can be considered "intergalactic villains" from Galactus to Annihilus, and Super Skrull, among others. How this "intergalactic villain" fits into Jane Foster being Thor and Valkyrie ruling Asgard with a queen has many of us asking questions, though we are hoping for a cool resolution. Plus, Taika Waititi made Thor: Ragnarok really great so we have high expectations.

Whatever the case, we're pretty excited for Thor: Love and Thunder. The fact that Taika Waititi will be directing another Thor movie with Jane Foster's Thor and Christian Bale as some sort of "intergalactic villain" makes this a really exciting MCU installment. The film is slated for a November 5, 2021 release.
