We already know that the Guardians will be showing up in Thor: Love and Thunder. But will Thor and his other friends appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Chris Pratt has teased the return of two new characters who will be joining the James Gunn film next year!
It's no secret that Thor: Love and Thunder will feature the Guardians. Chris Pratt and his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 co-stars have been confirmed to appear in the film and we already saw a bit of them in action in the Thor 4 trailer. Interestingly, Pratt has revealed that two other characters who were in the trailer will make an appearance in Vol. 3 as well!
Pratt recently attended the Thor: Love and Thunder premiere where he was interviewed on the red carpet. It was here that Pratt confirmed how director Taika Waititi managed to convince James Gunn to incorporate some adorable new characters in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
"[Waititi] just wanted to stick James with some goats," Pratt said with a laugh. "James has to pick up where Taika left off, and he stuck us with some space goats."
We already saw those awesome "space goats" and they happen to play an important role in Thor: Love and Thunder. So far we have only seen a glimpse of the goats who are named Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr but it's great to know they will be back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon.
Thor: Love and Thunder also stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, and Jaimie Alexander. Christian Bale joins the franchise as Gorr the God Butcher who is hellbent on killing all gods. The film will finally hit theaters on July 8, 2022.
