Chris Miller Shares New Poster for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Chris Miller may have been fired from Solo: A Star Wars Story, but he's still pretty much attached to the animated Into the Spider-Verse movie coming out later this year. With Sony just dropping the new trailer on us, Miller gives us a look at the official poster with Miles Morales' Spider-Man in the spotlight.

Check it out:

Though it wasn't clear in the first trailer, this animated movie looks to have a stop-motion feel to it. I don't know what that means for the other alternate universes, but I imagine that each dimension that we see is going to have a different style of animation.

I'll admit, Sony had me scratching my head when they announced Venom as well as Silver & Black, but I thought it was a cool idea to introduce a "Spider-Verse" in the form of an animated movie. Not only are we getting Miles Morales, but the trailer also confirms Spider-Gwen as well. Fingers crossed we get the Scarlet Spider or Spider-Ham.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that's the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes out Dec. 14.
