Chris Evans Says He Has Marvel’s Full Support When It Comes To His Anti-Trump Posts

Sure he might be known for his role as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's First Avenger, but Captain America star Chris Evans has also been known for his outspoken nature on social media. The Marvel star has been critical of the Trump administration ever since the 2016 elections, and Evans has on many occasions criticized both the President and his son, Donald Trump Jr. W

While some of his fans might not be so keen on his political views, the actor says that Marvel fully supports whatever he's doing on his personal account.

The Hollywood Reporter just recently did an in-depth piece on Evan's life and his career, and during the publication's interview with the Marvel star, the actor was asked whether he worries he'd get into trouble for his political posts on Twitter.

According to Evans, while he's worried about becoming a bit too performative, Marvel hasn't personally told him to limit any of his tweets and posts.

In fact, Evans even claims that he's received praise from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

"When I bump into Kevin Feige the first thing out of his mouth is 'Man, I love what you're doing [on Twitter],'" the actor recounts.

It seems like the people at Marvel see Evans' tweets as something that Captain America would be doing, questioning the government and making sure that the American people's well-being always comes first.

Now, Evans is down to what many take as his last film in the MCU – the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame.

Endame is set to premiere on April 26, 2019.
