Check Out Full Cover For The Art Of Thor: Ragnarok Book

Though some people would admit that Marvel movies are too simplistic for their taste, there's no denying that each movie comes with amazing art work. Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok will be getting it's own concept art compilation, and Marvel concept artist Andy Park shares with us the cover for The Art of Thor: Ragnarok.

Though Cate Blanchett's Hela may be taking center stage in the cover, there's no denying that the whole fiery aesthetic to the book means that the fire demon Surtur is lurking in the background (you can even see his eyes in the back part of the cover). So far we have no idea just how involved Surtur is in the film, but with Hulk taking him on in the trailer, we should expect him to appear somewhere near the end.

Thor: Ragnarok will be Taika Waititi's first foray into big-budget films. Though Waititi is considered an indie-darling, a lot of people are looking forward to his step up, and news has it that he's already in talks to helm the live-action adaptation of Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira.

Here's the synopsis for Thor: Ragnarok:

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters Nov. 3.
