Check Out Comic Legend Jim Lee’s Artwork of Robert Pattinson’s Batman

A lot of people are eagerly waiting for the Batman reveal this weekend with DC FanDome, and it's very likely we're going to get a full look at Robert Pattinson's batsuit. To help hype up the panel though, comic legend Jim Lee has some artwork of the new Batman and it looks kick-ass.

This was shared by The Batman director Matt Reeves:

I have to say, while Snyder's Batman looked to lean more toward blue and grey, this new take of Batman has been covered in warmer colors, particularly red. We don't know what that menas for the actual movie, but I like how gritty the marketing has been feeling. While I'm not expecting a fill trailer at FanDome, I am crossing my fingers for a short teaser as well as some new images; hopefully of everyone in the cast including Catwoman, Penguin, and Riddler.

Though I was initially hesitant about Batman being recast so suddenly, evidence points out that Reeves' version of the character will exist in his own timeline apart from the main DCEU. If anything, DC is slowly building up to the establishment of a multi-verse, meaning that several versions of Batman can exist at the same time. While this is great continuity-wise, I'm just seeing it as a good way to get Ben Affleck back as Batman someday in the future—that is if he's alright with it. Hopefully the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League will change his mind.

For now, fans wait for the release of The Batman on Oct. 1, 2021. DC FanDome takes place on Aug. 22.
